Challenges

Each step of the express transportation is recorded manually and then input into a backend system via a fixed PC back in the office. It consumes time and is prone to errors.

There is no monitoring system for incidents like damaged or lost parcels.

Handwriting pickup and delivery proof need extra effort to be scanned or shot and then uploaded into the system. It increases the workload of express man.

 
Solution
Yuantong cooperates with JOAN to improve its express system. JOAN suggests to use model #C8410A DWS located between the conveyer belt machine and sorting line,  weighing, scanning barcode, and dimension measuring automatically, then the software will upload the data information to e-commerce, courier, logistics management system in real time.
